Role Overview:
- This Producer supports newsgathering, storytelling, and live production across all NBC News platforms.
- The role works closely with a Correspondent and production teams to execute breaking news, features, and investigative pieces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pitch, field produce, write, and fact-check stories across NBC News linear and streaming platforms.
- Secure guest bookings, conduct pre-interviews, and manage correspondent schedules.
- Oversee field operations, live shots, and remote anchor setups during breaking news.
What We're Looking For:
- A creative journalist with sharp editorial judgment and strong writing and research skills.
- Experience shooting and editing (DSLR, iPhone, Avid, Adobe Premiere) and navigating newsroom tools.
- Ability to travel at a moment's notice and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
