Reporting to the Director of the Shared Services group, enable cloud and AI cost visibility, forecasting, and optimization across AWS, Azure, and AI environments.
Build tooling and processes that give engineering and finance teams the data they need for informed decisions.
Operate with significant autonomy and influence over managing a material cloud investment.

What You'll Do:

Own cloud cost visibility across AWS and Azure, maintain tagging hygiene, virtual cost allocation, and tooling (Finout) for accurate spend.
Automate workflows for routine activities like bill reconciliation and payment.
Evolve unit economics frameworks and monitor cost anomalies and optimization opportunities.

What We're Looking For:

2+ years of industry experience in cloud cost management, FinOps, or cloud platform engineering with cost focus.
Hands-on AWS cost and billing experience and familiarity with Azure cost management.
Ability to write code or scripting (Python, Bash) and leverage AI for analysis and tooling.

Compensation & Benefits:

The compensation range is $130,000 - $180,000 CDN a year.
