Job Description

New Relic is seeking a highly skilled Senior Workday Payroll Technology Analyst with expertise in Workday Payroll and Compensation modules to join the Finance Technology team. This pivotal role involves optimizing our Workday Payroll system, integrations with third party international providers and providing technical solutions that enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and positively impact the user experience. This individual will collaborate with the Finance, People Operations, and HR Information Systems teams to define and execute their strategy. Partner with stakeholders in Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and other functional areas to identify development needs and provide technical solutions utilizing Workday. Research and resolve day-to-day Workday Payroll system issues quickly and efficiently. Support the build of integrations between third-party international payroll providers and Workday to create a central source of Payroll information. Support the build of solutions to streamline payroll processing to capture pay components such as shift allowances, stipends, and meal vouchers and flow into compensation. Create and update Workday configurations based on requirement changes, such as the bonus calculator. Building basic and advanced custom reports, extracting data requests, and processing large, critical data sets with high accuracy. Support the roll out of Workday Time Tracking module to additional countries. Configure solutions to track and pay on-call hours at different rates for international locations. Create and write Standard Operation procedures in a clear and organized manner. Special projects as assigned.
