You will be responsible for architecting and implementing solutions for distributed systems within a microservices framework. The role involves optimizing system performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in development practices.

Support annual planning and budgeting process, partnering closely with cross functional stakeholders to develop detailed financial plans and forecasts. Independently prepare board meeting materials, providing accurate analysis. Drive the end-to-end cash flow forecasting process, collaborating with Treasury and Accounting teams to ensure accuracy/compliance.

Join the OpenTelemetry team at New Relic and contribute to developing, maintaining, and enhancing New Relic's OpenTelemetry offerings. Work closely with experienced engineers to solve complex technical challenges and build reliable, scalable software. Responsibilities include participating in design, development, and testing of OpenTelemetry components and integrations, writing clean code, and collaborating with team members.

As a software engineer, you will help build and extend New Relic's open source Java agent and Otel agent products. Design, build and maintain New Relic and Otel Java open source instrumentation agent and support tools. Participate in architectural definitions. Create automation and tooling to make our systems more reliable and easier to deploy. Work directly within a multidisciplinary team to help our customers and partners.
