Job Description
Orchard Title is looking for a dynamic Escrow Officer to manage the closing process and provide an exceptional experience for our customers. The ideal candidate is a seasoned real estate professional. Prepare and review all settlement documentation, including closing disclosures, escrow agreements, and related documents, ensuring strict adherence to lender, buyer, and seller instructions. Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Experience, Sales, Contract Operations, and Funding teams to proactively troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent issues that could delay the title or escrow process. Obtain and verify clear title by identifying and resolving title defects, and ensuring all liens and encumbrances against properties or principals are satisfied. Audit escrow and closing files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance, minimizing risk and protecting the company from potential claims. Oversee lender instructions and fund disbursement, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant distribution of funds for every transaction. Maintain strict compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and standards set by governing agencies, demonstrating accountability and operational excellence. Drive business growth by actively participating in sales meetings, real estate events, escrow and management sessions, and engaging with lenders and banking partners to increase capture rate and expand market presence. Continuously improve processes, providing feedback and insight to enhance operational efficiency, client experience, and overall organizational performance.
