Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Environment Automation

Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) are responsible for keeping all user-facing services and other GitLab production systems running smoothly. SREs are a blend of pragmatic operators and software craftspeople that apply sound engineering principles, operational discipline, and mature automation to our environments and the GitLab codebase. The Environment Automation SRE team is responsible for developing and operating the automated plumbing of the GitLab Dedicated solution. Projects include: developing cloud security practices, driving changes required to operate a large number of GitLab environments, working on GitLab core projects, creating deployment packages of GitLab, coding infrastructure automation with Ansible and Terraform, working on the GitLab observability stack, and interacting with various cloud provider systems.
