Lead a high-impact team of 6 individuals that builds and maintains the engineering platform, providing the foundation for 15+ product development teams. The Solution Architect is a key role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions that meet the strategic and operational needs of an organization. This role involves working closely with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to create scalable and efficient cloud architectures leveraging cloud services and best practices.

This role is within our Infrastructure Team, responsible for building and maintaining our AWS environments utilizing DevOps practices. You’ll work alongside team members to improve developers' access to services, data movement, and automate operations to enable future scale. You will be responsible for building and maintaining services that automate our infrastructure in areas like cloud deployments, user access, and monitoring.

As a Cloud Engineer II (CEII) you will provide engineering and transformation expertise to modernize the environment, being responsible for solutions design of the modernization cloud environment. Working with a team to plan, review requirements, design, and develop the most optimal and secure cloud-based solutions. The engineer must stay current with best practices, industry standards, and make recommendations as needed.

As an Infrastructure Engineer on Vanta’s Infrastructure & Security team, you'll provide a platform that powers the scalability, performance, and reliability of Vanta’s core systems. You will design and build scalable infrastructure to support rapid growth in data volume, service usage, and engineering velocity; lead projects across our cloud infrastructure; and implement and maintain core security infrastructure and controls.
