Director of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

This role involves leading the preparation, review, and submission of all SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, and other required disclosures, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Maintain internal controls over financial reporting and oversee financial reporting compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements. Drive continuous improvement of the external reporting process and leverage automation and AI tools to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency. Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Strategic Finance, Information Security and Operations teams to ensure alignment on disclosures and filing timelines. This role manages and develops a small team by providing direction, coaching, and feedback, while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Coordinate with external auditors and ensure proper review and sign off on financial statements and SEC filings.
