Engineering Manager, ML Understanding

Lead the ML Understanding team and unlock the full potential of Reddit’s vast content through cutting-edge AI. The MLU Team develops foundational AI models and leverages the latest advances in LLMs to deeply understand content and communities and represent users’ rich and varied interests. The team’s foundational work drives impact by enabling relevant, personalized experiences, enhanced insights, and accelerated development for Reddit product teams. In this role you will, define Technical Vision & Strategy, coach and support the development of your team, work with cross-functional partners, oversee the design, development, and optimization of machine learning pipelines that leverage LLMs, collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams, maintain high standards for system performance, and partner with recruiting to attract and hire diverse talent.
