Role Overview:
- As the Azure Cloud Architect, you will guide a government partner in designing a new Azure tenant and enabling independent operation.
- This is a remote, part-time 1099 contract position with a duration of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess existing Azure environment and design tenant structure, management groups, and landing zones.
- Define cloud architecture standards, IaC practices, and security governance.
- Produce architecture documentation, operational guidance, and runbooks.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as Azure Cloud Architect in large-scale government or regulated environments.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform), identity management (Entra ID, RBAC), and cloud security frameworks.
