Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the product team to codify design decisions into executable criteria.
- Collaboratively design and implement high-performance, low latency calculation engine code.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to team members and stakeholders.
About You:
- Strong experience in backend software development
- Deep expertise in one of the following areas: Strong Core Java skills: threading, allocation & garbage collection, performance tuning.
- Experience writing low latency Java.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience building planning software
- Likely (but not exclusively) to have worked in one of the following industry: Database engines (not database implementations)
- Basic understanding of Spring.
