Solar Programs, Project Manager II - Consumer Protection

This position will be a part of the Consumer Protection team supporting our work as the Program Administrator for Illinois Shines. The Illinois Shines program (the “Program”) is the statewide incentive program aimed to assist people across Illinois to more affordably transition to solar power. To meet Illinois’ goal of having 100% of its energy come from renewable energy sources by 2050, it is imperative that consumers’ rights are protected when working with companies registered with the Program. You will apply the complex processes, policies and expectations of Program stakeholders, evaluate participating customer complaints, and work with consumers to facilitate resolution. You will also investigate allegations of program violations, recommend disciplinary action, manage special projects, and develop educational materials.
