Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical lead for Azure integration and cloud engineering activities.
- Design, develop, and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines, Azure Databricks solutions, and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 environments.
- Develop secure REST API integrations with the DoD ILER platform and other enterprise systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud solutions including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Data Lake Storage Gen2.
- Expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, Git, Azure DevOps, and Azure Monitor.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or Department of Defense.
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Knowledge of NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, and secure cloud architecture principles.
