About The Role:
- At the intersection of product and AI engineering, you will define Dia's intended behavior, ship prompt and code changes, and own evals.
- Report to the Model Behavior Lead and work closely with engineering and product.
- Own problems end to end from understanding user needs to proving the solution worked.
Overall You Will:
- Shape Dia's AI experience by figuring out the right behavior and best path to it.
- Ship every week with hands-on work in prompts, code, and data.
- Improve systematically with evals that make quality trackable.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years in product, design, or adjacent builder roles with hands-on v1 experience.
- Think in systems: break ambiguous problems into measurable parts and design evals.
- Work inside AI tools daily like Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor.
Recent Projects:
- Morning Brief: prototyped the best performing feature from concept to quality assurance.
- Chat architecture: led move to an agent harness that now powers Dia's chat.
