Job Description
The Engineering Manager will join either the Authentication Enablement or DevX team. The Authentication Enablement team is responsible for ensuring the authentication service scales to meet the needs of our growing business. The DevX (Developer Experience) team focuses on improving the internal developer experience by providing simple, reliable, and well-supported tooling and workflows for developers at 1Password. The Engineering Manager is expected to create and maintain a positive, healthy team environment and help the team scale both themselves and the services they are responsible for. Main responsibilities include setting strategic direction, driving alignment, collaborating with senior individual contributors, and coaching individual contributors.The salary for USA-based roles is between $190,000 USD and $258,000 USD, while for Canada-based roles, it is between $172,000 CAD and $232,000 CAD. Benefits include health, dental, 401k/RRSP, PTO, and equity grant.
