As an Engineering Manager on the Foundations team, you’ll lead a talented team of engineers to develop the next generation of Thatch’s financial infrastructure. The Foundations team is building the abstractions and automations that allow for every Thatch member to pay for the insurance plans and expenses that fit their specific healthcare needs. We’re looking for an engineering manager who combines strong technical experience with a passion for empowering their team to achieve exceptional outcomes.

As Tern’s Engineering Manager, you’ll partner with the CTO to manage and evolve the engineering organization through strategic planning and operational support. You’ll lead recruiting and hiring, collaborating with recruiters, maintaining a healthy pipeline, and overseeing interview processes, while supporting team happiness. This is a foundational role to shape the engineering function.
