Job Overview:

• The Director of Medical Science Liaison leads and develops a high-performing field medical team focused on scientific engagement.
• This role translates medical strategy into effective field activities and oversees MSL operations across the Western US region.
• The Director drives execution of the national medical affairs plan and partners with cross-functional teams to inform medical strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop the MSL team, setting expectations for scientific excellence, compliance, and professional growth.
• Oversee territory planning, stakeholder prioritization, and deployment of field medical resources.
• Ensure timely collection and communication of medical insights from the field to inform clinical development and education planning.

Candidate Profile:

• Advanced scientific training (PhD, PharmD, PMHNP, MD) with at least 3 years of MSL experience.
• Proven field medical leader with experience managing direct reports and cross-functional relationships.
• Preference for background in neuroscience, psychiatry, or psychology, and experience in pre-commercial environments.
