Play a key role in the development function of UpStart, including grant oversight, development operations, and coordinating strategies for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Expected to travel approximately 2-3 times a year for team retreats, donor events, and funder meetings as needed. Responsible for grant writing and management, donor development, engagement, events & stewardship, and cross-departmental coordination & internal operations.

Oversee the implementation and coordination of programmatic and policy initiatives in California, focusing on advancing Common Cause’s core policy agenda on voting rights and ensuring the organization’s strategic objectives are met through effective program management and oversight. The Senior Program Manager will lead programmatic efforts, manage a program associate, and ensure the alignment of statewide initiatives regarding voting rights policy, voter protection, election administration, and redistricting.
