This is an on-call Temporary field technician position who will be directly responsible for fulfilling all duties and responsibilities associated with archaeological fieldwork throughout the Western United States. Residence in Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado or New Mexico is highly preferred but not required.
Lead cultural resources field crews assisting in archaeology services expansion in the Pacific Northwest. Responsible for consultation, data recovery plans, field coordination, and report writing. Requires knowledge of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Supervise junior personnel, interact with clients, agency, and Tribal representatives, and demonstrate knowledge of historic preservation regulations.
We are expanding our in-house surveying services and seeking an experienced Professional Licensed Surveyor (PLS) to lead this initiative. This role ensures compliance with state regulations while helping our team deliver more licensed surveyor-certified work internally. The key responsibilities include expanding in-house surveying capabilities, providing professional certification, and ensuring regulatory compliance with state and federal land surveying laws.
