Timmons Group is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer III to join the Electrical Design Group’s Renewable Energy team. This group focuses on power generation and renewable energy projects throughout the country including solar farms and battery storage projects. The candidate will perform electrical engineering design of solar PV/BESS power systems ranging from 1-500+ MW interconnected at medium voltage levels.

Supports the design development, implementation and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. The professional in this role aids in preparing technical reports, contract documents and cost estimates for various engineering tasks. Works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements. Identifies technical discrepancies in analytical results and makes appropriate corrections.
