Use your expertise to design and plan utility projects, work with client GIS systems, and ensure projects meet construction standards and client specifications. You'll demonstrate working knowledge of overhead and underground electric distribution systems, as well as gas distribution systems and client GIS design systems. Collect data to develop designs according to client and assist in submitting permit applications for assigned projects.
Investigate the cause and origin of failures, damages, or defects in electrical systems and components within industrial, commercial, and residential sites. Analyze the failure of electrical systems, determine the cause of failures, evaluate the quality of construction, and review design and maintenance procedures. Perform field investigations, lead multi-party examinations and documentation of damaged property.
