In this internship, you will recruit and retain members at events in the community, over SMS, over the phone, or through relational organizing; attend, help plan, and host events; support legislative advocacy efforts; use systems and tools to recruit members; and perform on the ground work for key events. You'll learn key grassroots organizing tactics, strategic planning, public speaking, and more.

This position manages and enhances the volunteer program by recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers to ensure their effective involvement in Blue Star Families' initiatives. Working with national and chapter teams to align volunteer efforts with the organization's mission and goals, ensuring that all volunteers feel supported, valued, and engaged.
