Ensure the final product of the software development lifecycle meets the defined scope and overall expectations. Work directly with Frontend and Backend developers to ensure quality delivery of WordPress sites, React/Next.js applications, and dashboards by validating REST APIs, backend integrations, and server-side functionality. You will perform quality assurance for AI agent interfaces and machine learning applications.

As a Quality Analyst II on the Assessments team at Khan Academy, you’ll help ensure the quality and reliability of our new Interim Assessment products for learners, educators, and districts. This is a manual testing role. Your focus will be to deeply understand our web-based Assessment product features and user flows.

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Project Team throughout the software lifecycle, ensuring product quality and performance meet client expectations prior to release. You will analyze and understand business requirements, Project and Product Manager expectations, and end-user needs, including how those users will interact with the software. You will also design, create, implement, document and monitor comprehensive and well-structured manual and automated processes, test plans and test cases to ensure the product satisfies the business requirements, while identifying other influences that might cause the product to malfunction.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to take ownership of quality assurance across modern data workflow orchestration platforms. You will ensure the reliability, integrity, and security of data pipelines and orchestrated workflows, with a strong focus on automated testing, quality gates, and end-to-end validation within continuous integration environments.

Our quality assurance team plays a key role in delivering exceptional web experiences and custom digital products. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will rigorously test software to ensure it effectively solves real-world problems, with a strong focus on web maintenance, and continuously improve code quality and testing practices.

The candidate will be part of a team implementing a large, enterprise system for the NYC Department of Education. This role is open to remote candidates, though if possible, those that can come in 2-3 times a week would be ideal. This a contract role, specifically for this project.
