Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers developing complex engineering solutions in support of a long-term customer program, routinely collaborating across a diverse set of technical and business leaders. The Program Chief Engineer will be responsible and accountable for technical performance and the effective utilization of engineering resources on a large scale. The ideal candidate will have expertise across satellites, Electro-Optical payloads, ground systems, space communications, and software development.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned transport network professional with at least 5 years of experience in designing and optimizing DWDM networks. You will be expected to work with minimal supervision, taking ownership of complex transport network design and optimization projects from concept to delivery, and engaging with various stakeholders.
Assume responsibility for the structured decommissioning and capacity optimization of OTC hardware that has reached End of Life or is no longer supported by the vendor. Serve as a reliable point of contact and subject matter expert for hardware lifecycle and public cloud infrastructure management. Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions—particularly for NetBox plugin enhancements and Jira tickets.
