You will be at the frontline of designing the fastest, leanest, most reliable systems. Architect and automate bare-metal, zero-latency environments with customized Linux/Unix kernel tuning, real-time schedulers, and deterministic execution. Rip apart and optimize every subsystem: CPU affinity, IRQ routing, TCP/IP stack, NUMA balancing, context switch reduction, memory allocators, BIOS configs.
Perform troubleshooting and proactive maintenance tasks on server equipment located within the data center. Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, data center personnel, and customers to address hardware-related issues and ensure efficient resolution. Maintain accurate documentation of hardware configurations, changes, and issue resolutions. Contribute to the development and implementation of hardware maintenance processes and best practices.
