We're seeking a Senior Design Systems designer to pioneer our native iOS and Android design system, a key company priority that will transform how users experience our products. You'll standardize our existing mobile applications while building a cohesive visual language that extends our web design system to native experiences. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mobile accounting at Xero, partnering with cross-functional leaders across design, product, and engineering to drive high-quality outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll lead design for key initiatives, mentor designers across the mobile portfolio, and help Xero continually raise the bar for quality, usability, and craft.

You will be the highest level individual contributor responsible for driving design excellence, shaping strategy, and delivering high-impact work across complex product areas. As a Principal Product Designer, you’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to define the vision, connect experiences across the product ecosystem, and elevate quality through deep craft and strategic thinking. You’ll be a trusted thought partner, mentoring others and championing design as a key lever for customer and business impact.
