Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, obtaining and verifying insurance and patient information with accuracy. Schedule patient appointments, including return office visits, referrals, and diagnostic testing or procedures. Greet patients professionally over the telephone and respond effectively to their needs.

Proficient in all areas of sleep study including calibration, monitoring, measurement, documentation, and treatment. Score polysomnograms and generate reports summarizing sleep/wake periods, REM episodes, and other events per AASM guidelines. Assist with sleep center orientation and manage supply inventory as needed.
Troubleshooting
Greets patients, family, and visitors courteously, providing information and arranging transportation as needed. Registers patients by obtaining and verifying required information for the registration system in an expedient manner. Acts as a preceptor for new hires, providing education and support while maintaining confidentiality of medical information.
Verify and analyze medical records to assign diagnostic and procedural codes using CMS guidelines. Ensure accurate charge capture and data entry with a 95% accuracy rate. Serve as a coding resource, resolve discrepancies, and assist in training new staff.
