As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on Percona's open-source tools for MongoDB and related components, developing new products, features, and bug fixes, collaborating with the Percona Server for MongoDB team. You will engage with the broader MongoDB open-source community by submitting and reviewing pull requests (PRs) and addressing issues the community raises. You will help shape Percona’s tools roadmap and prioritize features.

This role is pivotal in maintaining the high technical standards of Percona’s PostgreSQL products and services, enhancing Percona's reputation within the PostgreSQL ecosystem. You'll create valuable technical content, act as an escalation point for complex support tickets, and influence Percona's product strategy by providing feedback to the Engineering team. The role requires flexible hours across the Americas and European time zones.

You’ll be teaming with some of the most well-known database experts in the industry. Your main responsibility will be helping our customers’ DBA teams when they need expert assistance by gathering relevant data and investigating issues to provide a detailed analysis of your findings. When you’re not fixing things, you’ll be authoring new blog posts, answering questions on our forum, creating new articles in our customer-facing knowledge base, and hosting webinars amongst other things.

As a Quality Engineer on the MySQL team, you will support the distributed engineering team by maintaining and improving the quality of software products. Responsibilities include analyzing and reporting defects, defining and implementing new test cases, and enhancing the scalability and effectiveness of testing capabilities and infrastructure.
