Develop and enhance open source tools for MongoDB, focusing on the ClusterSync for MongoDB (PCSM) and Backup for MongoDB (PBM) projects written in Go.
Work on core replication engine, fault tolerance at scale, sharded cluster support, and performance optimization for large production clusters.
Contribute to backup, restore, and point-in-time recovery across replica sets and sharded clusters, integrating with cloud storage and maintaining release quality through tests and CI.
