ML Engineer

You would be working as part of our team, focused on designing and building systems that help our models provide better answers to customers’ use cases. We are seeking someone to assist us in designing the capabilities that future autonomous agents will need to solve complex tasks. This position is not only about searching with different retrieval algorithms.

ML Infra Engineer

You would be working in our pre-training team focused on building out our distributed training and inference of Large Language Models (LLMs). This is a hands-on role that focuses on software development best practices, maintenance, and code architecture. You will have access to thousands of GPUs to verify changes.

Member of Engineering (Human Data)

You will lead the development and management of high-quality data labeling pipelines that support our large language models. This role involves building an internal labeling team, working closely with vendors, and designing scalable processes for data annotation. Your work will be critical to the success of our AI models, ensuring that they are trained on top-tier labeled data using crowdsourcing and other data collection techniques.

VP of Engineering

As poolside’s VP of Engineering, you will be responsible for all things in our engineering roadmap, building a high-performance culture, and ensuring scalability across multiple teams and company priorities. You will oversee multiple engineering teams, partner closely with product and GTM, and be the ultimate delivery owner. You will also travel significantly between the US and Europe.

Applied Research Engineer

You will be part of the Applied Research Engineering group. Your focus will be on the sandboxed Agent execution environment. You will design, develop and operate services and systems that enable running agent sessions in a rich and safe environment at scale. You will also explore and evaluate different isolation techniques. You will bring Poolside’s Agent to new platforms and environments.

Data Engineer

Develop a robust platform that supports the creation of high-quality data pipelines and enables fast, efficient, end-to-end experimentation. You will play a key role in data engineering, ensuring our infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and optimized for large-scale data processing.

Pre-training Team Member

You would be working in our pre-training team focused on building out our distributed training and inference of Large Language Models (LLMs). This is a hands-on role that focuses on software reliability and fault tolerance. You will work on cross-platform checkpointing, NCCL recovery, and hardware fault detection. You will make high-level tools. You will have access to thousands of GPUs to test changes.

Data Platform Engineer

You will be part of the data platform team, which enables applied research teams at poolside to build high quality and large datasets for pretraining and postraining, run large-scale experiments end to end from data retrieval to running evaluations and benchmarks. Develop a robust platform that supports the creation of high-quality data pipelines and enables fast, efficient, end-to-end experimentation.

Applied Research Engineer

Join our Applied Research Engineering group to help build poolside’s coding agents, focusing on building the core agent framework, supporting tools, and the orchestration environment needed to run coding agents securely, reliably, and at scale. The role involves collaborating with product engineering and research teams to continuously build and improve our platform for coding agents and pushing the boundaries of what AI agents can do.
