Agency Account Manager

An Agency Account Manager’s role is to nurture existing and foster new relationships with public and investor relations firms to maintain and grow revenue. This position will connect with key stakeholders to retain business, introduce new distribution options, and build trust. Success in the role will include engagement and networking within the communications industry to become a brand ambassador and trusted resource. Acts as a consultative partner to understand client needs and challenges, advise on their communication plans, and effectively communicate Business Wire’s value proposition. Develops thorough knowledge of the agency landscape, public/investor relations industry, our products and services, as well as those of our competitors. What You Will Need: Experience in client account relationship management with revenue generation responsibility, strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop trusted client relationships and drive effective conversations with key decision makers. Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.
