Claims Specialist

About the Role:

• This is a remote position for candidates in Germany or Switzerland, requiring fluency in English, German, and French.
• You will combine veterinary medical knowledge, critical thinking, and policy expertise to assess pet insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review medical records, clinical notes, and invoices to determine claim eligibility and outcomes.
• Conduct secondary claim reviews for appeals and communicate rationale clearly.
• Investigate complex claim scenarios and proactively obtain required documentation.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing veterinary, animal health, or pet insurance environment.
• Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology, treatments, and diagnostic procedures.
• Experience reviewing medical records or claims adjudication is an asset.
