Responsibilities:

  • Complete credentialing and re-credentialing applications for physicians, ancillary providers, and facilities with third-party payers and governmental programs.
  • Perform primary source verification services, including licenses, malpractice, and work history, and maintain CAQH profiles.
  • Maintain credentialing databases and communicate regularly with clients, providers, and payers to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications:

  • High school education required; bachelor's degree preferred with 2-3 years of healthcare experience including credentialing or medical billing.
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional in Medical Staff Service Management (CPMSM) certification a plus.
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Excel.

Compensation & Culture:

  • The base salary range for this role is $56,000 - $63,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
