Staff Fullstack Engineer (Ruby/Vue.js) Monetization Engineering: Purchase

An overview of this role:

• Own the end-to-end purchase experience for all GitLab products, including new purchases, add-ons, upgrades, and self-service promotional discounts.
• Work across frontend and backend to build interfaces and services that process transactions and integrate with billing and CRM systems.
• Provide technical leadership, set direction for a unified purchase flow, and mentor other engineers.

• Design and build fullstack features across the purchase journey.
• Lead technical design for new purchasing capabilities and the unified purchase experience.
• Partner with Product and Design to turn purchasing requirements into resilient, well-tested technical solutions.

What you’ll bring:

• Professional fullstack engineering experience across frontend and backend code, using Ruby on Rails and Vue.js.
• Experience owning technical direction for a product area and driving iterative solutions.
• Strong bias toward safe, incremental delivery given revenue and customer impact.
