Staff Engineer - Money, Risk & Payment Ancillaries

About the Role:

• You will be the senior technical leader for Money, Risk & Payment Ancillaries, architecting foundational systems.
• You'll design bank-grade, resilient systems and champion a 'You Build It, You Run It' culture.
• This is a hands-on leadership role in a zero-tolerance-for-failure environment.

What This Unit Owns:

• Risk and fraud prevention, scams, money operations, reconciliations, and chargebacks.
• Real-time risk decisioning and operational tooling across the platform.
• Financial correctness and trust are non-negotiable.

Your Contribution Will Be:

• Own cross-domain architecture and technical leadership across the unit.
• Design real-time risk and fraud systems with low-latency transaction scoring.
• Build money movement systems with idempotency and auditable ledgers.

Skills You Need:

• Extensive experience in Go and/or Kotlin, with distributed systems expertise.
• Background in financial or risk-critical systems with correctness and auditability.
• Strong AWS and cloud-native services experience, and proven technical leadership.
