Staff Engineer - Trust & Vault

About the Role:

• You will be the senior technical leader for Trust & Vault, owning card vaulting, authentication, and optimization.
• You'll architect bank-grade, PCI-compliant systems that handle card data at scale.
• You'll set the technical direction for the pod and ensure reliability and compliance.

What You'll Do:

• Design and build tokenization, 3DS/SCA authentication, and network tokenization capabilities.
• Champion a YBIYRI culture where your team owns services from code to production.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with Product, CTO Office, and other Staff Engineers.

What You Bring:

• Deep expertise in Go and/or Kotlin, and experience with distributed systems.
• Proven track record in architecting secure, scalable platforms, ideally in payments or fintech.
• Strong AWS and cloud-native experience, with excellent testing and CI/CD practices.
