Senior Claims Coverage Counsel

Act as a legal advisor and strategist, ensuring that our clients’ coverage related matters are handled in a legally sound, compliant, and efficient manner. This role requires someone who is highly motivated and growth-oriented, impactful and influential, and tech-oriented, with a passion for claims and an empathetic leadership style. The Senior Claims Coverage Counsel will provide legal opinions and advice on coverage issues in various P&C claims, including professional liability, general liability, transportation, property and other related matters. They will also review or draft coverage recommendations, reservations of rights, and denial letters for complex claims, and assist with compliance with subpoenas. The role includes strategizing on processes and procedures for effective, consistent handling of claims in compliance with various state laws and assisting with the development and delivery of compliance training programs. Legal research for internal business clients and providing clear, concise, accurate, and actionable legal advice is also required.
