About the Role:
- The ACLU seeks a Spring Legal Intern for the Abortion Criminal Defense Initiative.
- The role is remote or hybrid based in New York, NY or Washington D.C.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct legal research and writing on abortion-related criminal defense matters.
- Track cases, assist with intakes, and support advocacy efforts.
What You'll Bring:
- ABA-accredited law student who has completed at least 1L year.
- Strong research, writing, communication, and organizational skills.
Internship Logistics:
- Part-time (10-20 hrs/week for 12 weeks) or full-time (35 hrs/week for 10 weeks).
- Offered for course credit only; must be tied to a formal education program.
