About the Role:
- Intern with the ACLU's Center for Liberty on reproductive freedom, LGBTQ rights, women's rights, religion, and disability rights.
- Work on priority areas like family integrity, veterans' rights, and preventing religion-based discrimination.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct legal research and analysis for litigation.
- Draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Assist with client outreach, discovery, and trial practice.
Qualifications:
- Current law student or LLM candidate with at least one semester completed.
- Strong research, communication, and time-management skills.
Internship Logistics:
- Part-time (10-20 hrs/week for 12 weeks) or full-time (35 hrs/week for 10 weeks).
- Remote or hybrid based in NYC; must be based in the U.S.
