Outpatient Coding Consultant

Role Overview:

• You will work remotely as an outpatient coding expert, ensuring accurate clinical data and reimbursement.
• You will handle complex coding scenarios and collaborate with healthcare stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assign and sequence diagnosis and procedure codes with 95% accuracy.
• Abstract coded data into computer systems for reporting and analysis.
• Identify documentation improvement opportunities and communicate findings.

Qualifications:

• Hold an AHIMA or AAPC credential (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, etc.).
• At least 3 years of hospital or coding consulting experience in outpatient settings.
• Strong medical terminology, communication, and remote work skills.

Compensation & Benefits:
