Controller

Accounting, Payroll and Tax Operations:

• Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
• Implement robust accounting policies and coordinate with external vendors for tax filings.

Treasury & Cash Management:

• Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for obligations.
• Oversee treasury administration, including funds flow to partners.
• Manage banking relationships and optimize cash position through effective strategies.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the annual audit process, working with external auditors.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks related to contracts, credit, and operations.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead and mentor the accounting and payroll team, fostering continuous improvement.
• Evaluate team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
• Ensure adequate staffing and resources to meet reporting and operational needs.
