Controller

Technical Accounting & Documentation:

• Draft ASC 606 revenue memos for multi-element contracts including hardware, SaaS, and government programs.
• Author and maintain policy papers on inventory, leases, stock compensation, and contract costs.
• Design internal controls for scale and potential public-company readiness.

Financial Close & Reporting:

• Administer NetSuite including chart of accounts, revenue recognition, and MRP configuration.
• Own the full accounting cycle and lead a disciplined monthly close with variance analysis.
• Prepare GAAP financial statements and reporting packages for the Board, investors, and lenders.

Audit, Tax & Compliance:

• Serve as primary liaison for annual financial statement and 401(k) plan audits.
• Coordinate federal and state tax returns, R&D credits, and sales & use tax filings with advisors.
• Manage compliance with government contracts and grant reporting.

FP&A & Team Leadership:

• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team to build a culture of accuracy.
• Support budgeting, reforecasts, customer profitability, and pricing.
• Partner with the SVP of Finance on Board and investor materials.
