Vice President, Business Systems

GitLab is seeking a VP of Business Systems to lead the strategic vision, architecture, and execution of enterprise systems powering our global go-to-market, customer, and financial operations. Reporting to the CIO, you'll oversee a distributed team of approximately 60 professionals across Sales Systems, Customer Systems, and Finance Systems. Our enterprise systems and processes are the backbone of our company, and this role is an opportunity to not only power those systems but also drive roadmaps for future scaled growth. As a strategic leader and trusted advisor to the executive team, you'll drive transformational initiatives that enhance Quote-to-Cash, enable usage-based billing, and leverage AI across sales, customer success, and support. You'll establish governance frameworks that balance agility with control, architect solutions integrating our tech stack and foster a culture of empowerment and accountability in a fully distributed, async-first organization.
