State Government Affairs Policy Manager

The State Government Affairs Policy Manager will report to Scout Motors’ Director, State Government Affairs and will play a critical strategic and business role in helping to develop, implement and manage Scout Motors’ government affairs and public policy initiatives. Responsibilities include supporting the implementation of Scout Motors state government affairs strategy by preparing local and state-specific political and policy overview documents. The role involves monitoring, tracking, and reporting on proposed legislation and regulatory matters relevant to Scout Motors' business operations, maintaining a legislative tracking database, and helping to manage Scout’s policy-related memberships. You will build the reputation and presence of Scout Motors through industry groups and stakeholder discussions. This role may be based remotely within the United States with preference for candidates located within the Northeast and Midwest portions of the United States.
