Contract Mobile App Developer

Role Overview:

• Lead the final development and launch of a creative invitation design app, with approximately half the codebase already completed.
• Work independently as the sole developer, exercising full technical autonomy over architecture, integrations, and release decisions.
• Collaborate with the partner company through a handoff process and ensure smooth transition from existing codebase to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete remaining development for both iOS and Android using React Native, covering APIs, cloud services, and third-party integrations.
• Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and integration challenges, then prepare the app for successful deployment on both platforms.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and feature enhancements after launch to ensure a reliable user experience.

Technical Environment:

• Work with a diverse stack including Firebase, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, GitHub, Cloudflare, and various APIs (Replicate, Facebook, PayPal).
• Leverage existing infrastructure and tools to deliver a scalable and secure application with minimal supervision.
• Apply strong full-stack skills across mobile code, backend services, and cloud infrastructure to drive the project forward.
