Linguistic Quality Auditor – IPA Phonetic Transcription Review

Accountabilities:

• Audit a sample of completed linguist submissions to verify validation and correction decisions.
• Compare IPA transcriptions against audio recordings to identify errors or inconsistencies.
• Provide corrections where applicable, following project-specific quality standards.

Requirements:

• Native or near-native fluency in one or more target locales (e.g., fr_CA, en_US, pt_PT).
• Strong knowledge of phonetics and IPA transcription, with prior review experience highly relevant.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently while meeting quality benchmarks.

Project Environment:

• Fully remote work on a client-owned platform.
• Flexible, focused engagement with defined deliverables.
• Approximately 20 hours over a two-week project starting early October 2026.
