Job Description

The Director of Creditor Strategy is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing creditor negotiation strategies to maximize settlement efficiency, client savings, and overall business performance. This leader will oversee analytics-driven decision-making, ensure alignment with regulatory compliance, and enhance relationships with creditors, collection agencies, and legal entities. The ideal candidate will leverage data models, market insights, and industry best practices to improve recovery rates while mitigating litigation risk and optimizing financial outcomes for clients. The position involves developing and refining creditor negotiation strategies, establishing segmentation models, utilizing predictive analytics, and working with legal teams. It also includes overseeing creditor portfolio performance metrics, leading the development of creditor scoring models, monitoring trends in charge-offs, and collaborating with various teams. Partnering with Compliance & Legal to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and establishing KPIs to assess the effectiveness of settlement strategies are also key components. Maintaining strong relationships with creditors and representing the company at industry events are essential as well.
