You will be involved in big design decisions from day one, owning a domain service outright.
You will use AI coding agents heavily and directing them is part of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

Own a domain service end to end: schema, gRPC API, workflows, event consumers, tests, and docs.
Design tables and queries in our schema DSL; write workflows that survive partial failure.
Review pull requests from humans and agents; carry your service through production incidents.

Qualifications:

Must have several years shipping backend services in a statically typed language like Go, Java, C#, Rust, or TypeScript.
Real SQL experience with transactions, isolation levels, query plans, indexing, and migrations.
A testing habit against real dependencies; experience debugging distributed systems in anger.

Nice to Have:

Experience in banking, payments, ledger, card, or ACH.
