About the Role:
- The Accounts Payable Specialist processes all outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government contracting regulations.
- This role requires strong attention to detail and knowledge of FAR/DFARS and cost accounting practices.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and expense reports in accordance with contract requirements.
- Match purchase orders and receiving reports to invoices, resolve discrepancies, and maintain AP aging.
- Support month-end close, audits, and ensure timely payment of vendor obligations.
What We're Looking For:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, with 2-4 years of AP experience in government contracting.
- Experience with Concur required; Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP highly preferred.
- Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and a customer service mindset.
