Staff Technical Writer

At Chainguard, user documentation is critical for customers to leverage and integrate with technical features, evolving with the UI, API, and CLI. The Docs team, part of the Product team, raises awareness of Chainguard and software supply chain security by creating educational resources. They produce documentation, tutorials, and videos explaining products and supporting broader understanding of software supply chain security, cybersecurity compliance, and related regulations, all housed in Chainguard Academy.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, autonomous, and excited about writing documentation and technical tutorials for developers and security professionals. Core requirements include a deep understanding of the cloud-native/open-source ecosystem and experience writing for technical audiences. Responsibilities include collaborating across Product and Engineering teams to produce product documentation, maintaining existing documentation, and participating in product initiatives. The candidate will also act as 'customer zero,' testing products and providing feedback to improve usability.
