Principal Engineer - Mobile

Technical Leadership and Strategy:

• Resolve the hardest architectural questions and set the AI-native engineering bar.
• Own the end-to-end technical strategy for iHerb's mobile platform, covering iOS and Android apps.
• Drive platform decisions that compound over time rather than accumulate debt.

Collaboration and Influence:

• Collaborate closely with peer Principals, Engineering Managers, and VPs across the organization.
• Lead complex multi-team technical efforts by coordinating architecture reviews and aligning stakeholders.
• Represent engineering in cross-functional conversations with product, data science, security, and infrastructure.

Mentorship and Standards:

• Mentor and raise the technical bar across the engineering organization through code review and direct coaching.
• Establish and evolve iHerb's AI-driven SDLC golden path, including shared standards and automation patterns.
• Contribute mobile-specific patterns into the shared knowledge base to compound institutional knowledge.
